Although this may look like a mountain about to erupt, i can assure you that it is not! I took this photo on a windy autumn day, it is made of two seperate photographs, of the same scene, but converted into a HDR (High Dynamic Range) In order to give the scene its thundery appearance. The foreground was lightened slightly, whilst the clouds had the darkness and contrast boosted to make an extremely vibrant scene.
No Entry // Down the
February 14th, 2010At the time of taking these two shots, i was a big fan of black+white photography. The first shows an open gate in the Welsh countryside, I chose the Title of “No Entry” as the gate would normally be closed.
The second shows the view down the top of a barbed-wire fence dividing fields next to a lake, i particularly like this one because it leads the eye towards the centre of the photograph where the water meets the land.
